Salesforce.com was rolled out to users in 3 continents in days. Initial accounts, contacts and opportunities were loaded. Existing contracts were scanned and loaded into salesforce. A recent campaign for a global hi-tech software business generated upwards of 100 webinar registrations – hence leads – per month from a contact database of around 4,000 people, using the following capabilities of their salesforce.com system: contacts, campaigns, mass emails, web-to-lead, together with a commercial webinar tool and some simple updates to the web site.
